COMMENT: Technology and Arrowhead's 1 to 1 Program

COMMENT: It is clear that technology is an essential part of our learning; through our most recent research project, it is evident that iPads, laptops, nooks, and technical devices can improve our ability to learn in the classroom.  For the sole purpose of reading fiction and non-fiction texts in an English/Language Arts classroom, do you believe nooks, the devices you just utilized in the Academy, are MORE effective in YOUR understanding of the text versus the traditional paperback book? Explain. As a result of reading from the nook, would you recommend all students at AHS to purchase texts electronically in the future? Explain your position.  Also, if high schools, colleges, and universities are moving in this direction, do you feel that this experience was beneficial?
